Inventory optimization to reduce grocery retail food waste
I offer customized inventory optimization approaches for grocery retailers to systematically reduce food waste and boost instock rates.
Through data analysis and supply chain assessments, I help you experiment and implement new ways to optimize your inventory.
There is no one size fits all approach, each grocery retailer has its own nuanced supply chain and technology systems, and my approach tailors data-driven strategies that are customized to actually work with your operations.
I also advise technology companies building grocery inventory software.
I'm Arthur Peterson. I spent 7 years at Amazon building systems that power Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods grocery operations, and I led Amazon Fresh’s inventory control for Produce, Meat, and Fish during 4x business growth while pioneering industry-leading waste reduction strategies.
This hands-on experience scaling perishable supply chains, combined with my technical product management and statistical background, gives me a unique perspective: I understand the data science, the underlying technology, and the operational reality of grocery retail.
